Ground Transportation

Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport to the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth:

• Best public transit option: the 747 Airport Express bus goes directly from YUL to downtown Montréal and stops very close to the hotel (René-Lévesque/Mansfield). Travel time is usually about 25–30 minutes.

• Train option: you can take the free shuttle from the airport to the nearby Dorval VIA station, then take a VIA Rail train to Central Station. The hotel is directly above Central Station. This is more useful for intercity travel than airport-to-downtown travel.

• Taxi/Uber: typically 20–25 minutes depending on traffic; taxis have a flat airport-to-downtown fare.

The convenient part is that the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth has direct indoor access to Montréal Central Station and Bonaventure métro station.
