The 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting of the Canadian Society of Transplantation will take place in Montréal, Québec. We acknowledge that the land on which we gather is the traditional and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), a place which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples. We recognize and honor the enduring presence of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Huron-Wendat Nation, and the Anishinabeg peoples. Today, this land is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples, whose connections to this territory continue to deepen. We express gratitude for the opportunity to live, work, and create on this land, and commit to cultivating respectful relationships with the Indigenous communities who have stewarded this land since time immemorial.
